摘要： Disclosed is a process for producing the magnesium salt of sulfonic acids and sulfuric esters comprising the step of neutralizing the sulfonic acids and sulfuric esters with an aqueous dispersion containing: (1) at least one neutralizing agent selected from the group consisting of magnesium oxide and magnesium hydroxide, and; (2) at least one neutralizing accelerator selected from the group consisting of benzoic acid, citric acid, malic acid, phosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid and water-soluble salts thereof under a pH of not more than approximately 6.

摘要： A thermoplastic resin laminate is a transparent substrate material or protective material which is excellent in transparency, birefringence, and pattern-formability. The laminate is a synthetic resin laminate formed of a methacrylic resin layer, and a vinyl copolymer resin layer laminated on one or both sides of the methacrylic resin layer. The vinyl copolymer resin contains a (meth)acrylate structural unit and an aliphatic vinyl structural unit represented by specific formulas. The ratio of the sum of the (meth)acrylate structural units and the aliphatic vinyl structural units is 90 to 100 mol % with respect to all the structural units that form the resin. The ratio by mole of the (meth)acrylate structural unit to the aliphatic vinyl structural unit is 65:35 to 85:15. The methacrylic resin contains a structural unit having no benzene ring in an amount of 90 mol % or more with respect to all the structural units.

摘要： When a plurality of magneto-optic disks are inserted via a mail slot (12) provided in a front panel block (1), a controller block (23) controls a manipulator of a robotics block (2) so as to load the magneto-optic disks in Magneto-Optic disk arrays (4) and (5) constituted by connecting a plurality of Magneto-Optic drives and one Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disk controller. When the Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disk recording system is selected by the user, the controller block (23) controls the recording operation of the Magneto-Optic disk arrays (4) and (5) in accordance with the selected recording system. More specifically, when the Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disk recording system of striping is selected, the controller block (23) divides the data supplied from the outside and controls the recording operation of the Magneto-Optic drives so as to perform the recording in parallel by the Magneto Optic drives. Thus, it becomes possible to handle data of a high transfer speed such as image data.

摘要： A semiconductor device comprises a plurality of gate electrodes, drain electrodes, and source electrodes axi-symmetrically formed on opposite sides of a gate pad and drain pad. Two source pads are arranged at ends of these electrodes, to which the source electrodes are connected, so that a gate width can be shortened. Therefore, an output power, gain, etc., can be increased, and the high-frequency characteristics can be improved. Further, when arranging a plurality of semiconductor devices in parallel, the semiconductor chip can be formed in the shape of a square, i.e., the aspect ratio thereof can be reduced, and therefore, cracks in the semiconductor chip (semiconductor device) can be avoided.
