摘要： A portable cooling system and apparatus for semiconductor device testing includes a free piston Stirling cooler (FPSC) 102 and a support member 104 suitable for locating the FPSC above a semiconductor device to be tested (208, fig 2) and a thermal adapter 106 coupled to the FPSC and coupleable to the semiconductor device. An electrical power line 110 and an air supply line 112 may be routed from a head control unit to a portable system control unit (108, fig 2). The system may feature an adjustable support frame 114 that can couple to a support frame base 116. A method of testing a semiconductor device using the FPSC is also disclosed, and may comprise monitoring the operating conditions of the FPSC with the portable supply control unit, and heating or cooling the semiconductor device with the FPSC.

摘要： A digital compensation circuit for calibrating a sensor is described. The compensator circuit includes a serial communication circuit for receiving data relating to a plurality of parameters and a compensation circuit coupled to serial communication circuit for providing piece-wise linear compensation of a temperature coefficient (TC). In one embodiment, the compensation circuit further includes a detector for detecting a threshold for a digital temperature and providing an output and a plurality of registers coupled to the detector and the serial communication circuit, a first plurality of registers for providing a first value if the digital temperature is above the threshold, a second of the plurality of registers for providing a second value if the digital temperature is below the threshold. The compensation circuit further includes a selector coupled to the detector and the plurality of registers for selecting one of the first and second of the plurality of registers dependent upon the output of the detector for providing piece-wise linear compensation of a temperature coefficient.

The caliper assembly has a fixed mount bracket and a floating portion. At least two brake pads are attached to the floating portion, operable to exert a force against the rotor in response to a force through the floating portion. A first portion is coupled to the fixed mount bracket. A second portion is coupled to the floating portion such that the second portion moves in response to movement of the floating portion. A sensor assembly measures a distance between the first portion and the second portion. A wireless transmitter sends a signal from the sensor assembly to detached electronics, the signal representing the distance measured.
