摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burdens of a user without the need of plural operations for storing still image data by performing control so as to receive data inside a digital camera and store them in a large capacity memory in response to the detection of connection with the digital camera by a detection means. SOLUTION: An image storage device 4 is provided with the large capacity memory such as a hard disk and stores the large amount of digital images together with management data. It is detected that this digital camera 6 is connected to a station 5 by the image storage device 4. Then, power is supplied to the digital camera 6 and the main power source of the digital camera 6 is turned ON. Whether or not the file of image and sound signals which can be handled in the image storage device 4 is present inside the digital camera 6 is detected. A folder to which the name of a date or the like is attached is prepared in the common folder of a storage part. Then, image and sound signal files are received in photographing and sound recording orders from the digital camera 6 and recorded in the folder of the storage part.
