摘要： This invention provides a non-expendable support or carrier for a disposable bedpan and broadly comprises a center portion shaped to receive the receptacle portion of a bedpan, a web adapted to fit below and support the conventional seat part of the bedpan, and extending from said web a downwardly and outwardly extending flange which for the major part of its circumference is only about half the depth of the dished part. At opposite sides and rearwardly of the support's transverse center line said flange is formed with wing portions which extend downwardly and outwardly to or almost to the base of the dished part. The extremities of said wing portions preferably are widened or flanged to provide broad smooth bearing surfaces.

摘要： An ignition timing circuit is disclosed which provides variable fuel ignition timing as a function of the rotational speed of a small internal combustion engine. A measure of the rotational speed of an engine is generated from the shape of pulses generated by a sensor. A timing delay circuit converts this measure of the rotational engine speed into a fuel ignition trigger signal with a controlled delay relative to the engine's angular position. This trigger signal activates a switching device which in turn delivers energy to the engine's spark plug system. A significant benefit of the disclosed ignition timing circuit is its ability to be enclosed in a package which is size and pin-compatible with standard silicon controlled rectifiers.

The recall unit allows selective forced write-backs of dirty cache lines to the home memory. After a request is posted in the recall unit, a recall (“flush”) command is issued which forces the owner cache to write-back the dirty cache line to be flushed. The memory controller will inform the recall unit as each recall operation is completed. The recall unit operation will be interrupted when all flush requests are completed.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and device for controlling the solid fuel regression rate of a solid fuel ramjet engine. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, pressure oscillations are excited using active, closed-loop control to vary the heat transfer, and in turn the regression rate of a solid fuel ramjet engine. The pressure oscillations are excited by introducing small disturbances into the shear layer. The disturbances are amplified in the shear layer and excite pressure oscillations. The disturbances are introduced at a certain phase relative to the pressure oscillations. This is accomplished by closed-loop control. By varying the phase, the amplitude of the pressure oscillations can also be varied, which in turn will vary the heat transfer, regression rate, and thrust level.
