    • 1. A double band belt conveyor having an end-less rotating conveyor belt, whose band (2) is supported on troughed roller sets (23) at a belt feeder (9) and connecting with a vertical stretch (19), and is held flat on the vertical stretch, and having an endlessly rotating cover belt (18), whose band (29) can be buckled in the conveying stretch for the formation of closed conveying chambers (30) preferably between external tensioning reinforcements (48) and cooperating, shear-resistant transverse reinforcements (27), whereby the band edges are pressed together and the longitudinal edges of the band are held together, characterised in that for holding together the bands (2, 29) outwardly projecting hooks (35, 36) with opposing openings (37, 38) are provided on both cover belt edges (33, 34), which the longitudinal edges (45, 46) of the conveying band (2) approach on running off the troughed roller sets (10, 11) or from which they move away on running of the conveyor band (2) onto the troughed roller sets (25), and that, beyond the last troughed roller set (11) of the belt feeder (9) in the conveying direction, at least one belt bearing roller or belt guide roller (16, 53) is provided which flattens the conveyor band (2) lying on it, the longitudinal edges (45, 46) of which thereby engage in the hooks (35, 36) which serve for pressing together the band edges and for mutual holding together of the bands (2, 29).

    • A two-cylinder pump for heavy flowable materials, such as concrete, comprising a shutter mechanism which is pivotable across an apertured face plate, the shutter mechanism being sealed against the face plate by means of a cutting ring which is axially movable relatively to the shutter mechanism and is supported thereon with its rear side engaging a rectangular-section flexible rubber ring, whereby the cutting ring is urged resiliently against the face plate, means for locating the cutting ring, along a portion of its length, on the shutter mechanism, a seating for the flexible ring on the cutting ring which includes an annular extension which partly overlaps the longer cross-sectional side of the flexible ring in the axial direction, a seating for the flexible ring on the shutter mechanism which includes an annular extension which partly overlaps the longer cross-sectional side of the flexible ring in the axial direction, said annular extensions partly overlapping the ring from opposite sides thereof so that a part of the surface of the ring is left free between the annular extensions, and stops on the cutting ring and the shutter mechanism which limit the extent to which the cutting ring is inserted in said means for locating the cutting ring on the shutter mechanism.

Date Mar. 13, 1986.A twin-belt band conveyor in which the flat belt of an endlessly circulating conveyor band forms a closed conveying space with a belt of a cover band running along therewith on a steep conveying track, the edges of each belt being held in superimposed arrangement by guides along the longitudinal sides of the conveying space, the conveying space (34, 50) being formed by indentations of at least one of the belts between the guide, and opened at the end of the steep track by a deflection of the cover band directed around a turn, and the indented belt being straightened out for its return travel. The cover band belt (2) has tensile reinforcements disposed in its longitudinal sides and transverse reinforcements which cooperate with the tensile reinforcements are provided in the cover band, the indentations and straightened out areas (32 to 34) being formed between the transverse reinforcements and the tensile reinforcements, and the belt of the conveyor band limiting the conveying space is held flat on the steep track and the guides of the upwardly moving belt strands are of continuous design.
