摘要： A method of making a printing blanket or printing sleeve which includes one or more cast polyurethane layers is provided. Each cast polyurethane layer may be applied in a single pass to a moving substrate web or a rotating sleeve by slot die coating, electrostatic or non-electrostatic spraying, or knife coating. The method may utilize UV or radiation curable polyurethanes, two-part polyurethanes, moisture curable polyurethanes, or cure-blocked or delayed-cure polyurethanes.

摘要： The present invention provides a compressible printing sleeve carrier for use in offset lithography which is formed from a composite fiber-reinforced compressible polymer. The printing sleeve carrier is formed by coating reinforcing filaments (22) with a compressible polymer (28) and winding the filaments around a mandrel (26) to form a hollow cylindrical base, where the first portion of the base adjacent the inner surface contains the wound reinforcing filaments coated with the compressible polymer and the second portion of the base adjacent the outer surface contains the compressible polymer.

A cutting mat (120) having a generally elongate body (122) includes first and second locking members (132, 134) projecting from opposite axial ends thereof. The cutting mat is installed on the anvil such that the first and second locking members are positioned within the channel over one of the pins. Alternatively, a lockup device may be provided to temporarily secure the cutting mat to the rotary anvil. 摘要： A process of forming a color image element with color-forming photopolymer layer(s), the color image element so formed, and a digital imaging system is provided. A single subtractive working color-sensitive, photopolymerizable layer on a substrate hat, upon exposure to an actinic radiation source reflected from a digital light processor, accurately reproduces a desired digital color image in the photopolymerizable layer. The use of multiple layers of color specific photopolymers enables a full color image to be formed upon the substrate by this process.
