    • The invention relates to a lift between lower and upper (4) levels of a house comprising a cabin and an essentially horizontal platform (1) which is essentially vertically movable by actuating means arranged thereunder. An actuating unit interacts with at least one (11a) of the arms (11a, 11b) in such a way that the pivot axis (16) of the second arm (11b) for the platform (1), the middle pivot axis (22) of the arms (11a, 11b) of the pair (11) and the pivot axis (13) of the first arm (11a) are never aligned.
