    • A device for transferring and containing liquid and a mixing method are provided. The device includes a vial (200) having at least two storage lumens (260) extending axially along a vial body (210), a transfer channel (240) coupled to a distal end of each of the storage lumens, and a common chamber (232) in fluid communication with the storage lumens (260) via the transfer channels (240). The mixing method includes providing the device for transferring and containing liquid material; providing a fluid subunit (310) in each of the storage lumens, a distal gasket (320) sealing each of the fluid subunits (310) from a distal end (214) of the vial; providing a plunger assembly (1210) coupled to a proximal end (212) of the vial; and depressing the plunger assembly (1210). Depressing the plunger assembly (1210) forces the distal gaskets (320) into the gasket seats (250) and transfers the fluid subunits (310) into the common chamber (232) via the transfer channels (240).

    • A reticulated annular capillary GC column (100) is disclosed including a capillary wall (102), a core (104) disposed within the capillary wall, an annulus (106) disposed between said capillary wall and said core, and vanes (108) disposed in said annulus. The vanes extend along the length (110) of the capillary wall for less than the length of the capillary wall. The vanes define a reticulated flow path (118) through the annulus. The vanes structurally support the core within the capillary wall. A method for forming the reticulated annular capillary GC column is disclosed including forming a preform master pattern by an additive manufacturing technique, the preform master pattern including a preform wall, a preform core, a preform annulus disposed between the preform wall and the preform core, and struts disposed in the preform annulus. A preform is cast from the preform master pattern, and the preform is drawn down, forming the reticulated annular capillary GC column.

    • An acoustic displacement flowmeter for determining flow rate of a fluid has a fluid flow line defining a flow path for the fluid. The fluid flow line has an inlet and an outlet. A controllable valve is positioned along the fluid flow line for opening and closing the flow path as desired, and an acoustic displacement transducer having a fluid port is coupled to the fluid flow line upstream from the controllable valve. The outlet of the fluid flow line extends through a wall isolating fluid exhausted from the outlet of the fluid flow line from electrical and/or mechanical components residing inside the flowmeter, thereby preventing the exhausted fluid, if explosive, from contacting such electrical and/or mechanical components which may act as potential ignition sources. An acoustic displacement transducer (ADT) chamber wall is formed on the manifold body.
