    • An article (20) has a longitudinal length (22), an article width (24) and an article thickness (26). The article (20) comprises a fresh personal care product (28) in a substantially unsoiled condition, and a pouch (30) having a pouch volume which operatively encloses the fresh product (28). The pouch (30) includes a front panel region (32), a back panel region (34) which is operatively connected to the front panel region (32), and at least one expansion section (48) which is operatively connected between the front panel region (32) and the back panel region (34). The expansion section (48) is operatively held in a substantially unexpanded, closed position when the fresh product (28) is enclosed in the pouch (30). The expansion section 48 is movable to an open position after a removal of the fresh product (28) from the pouch (30). The open position of the expansion section (48) is configured to provide an expanded disposal volume which can operatively contain a product (28) when the product (28) is in a used and soiled condition.

At least a major portion of the wrap member (24) includes an outer layer (26), an inner layer (28) and an intermediate layer (30) that is sandwiched between the inner and outer layers, and includes an operative amount of an odor control agent (32). In particular aspects, the intermediate layer (30) can include a nonwoven fibrous web, and the fibrous web can have selected fiber sizes. In another aspect, the intermediate layer (30) of the wrap member (24) can include a meltblown nonwoven web. In further aspects, the outer layer (26) can include a nonwoven fibrous web having particular fiber sizes, and the inner layer (28) can include another nonwoven fibrous web having the same or different fiber sizes.

    • The present invention provides a personal care product including a wrapper having at least one free edge, an absorbent personal care article and a sensory cue providing indicia as to the location of the free edge. In one embodiment, the wrapper is a wrapper component and has a first panel, a back panel and a second panel, where the first panel is connected to the back panel and the second panel is connected to the back panel at an opposite end from where the first panel is connected to the back panel. The second panel having a free edge positioned adjacent the first panel, wherein the second panel has a first set of sensory attributes which terminate at the free edge of the second panel and the first panel has a second set of sensory attributes which are adjacent the free edge of the second panel. In the present invention, at least one attribute from the first set of sensory attributes or at least one attribute from the second set of attributes is different from attributes from the other set. The different attribute provides a contrast between the second panel and the first panel, and this contrast provides a sensory cue providing clear indicia as to the location of the free edge of the second panel. Also provided is a method of using the personal care product and wrapper. The sensory cue can also be used to direct a user as to how to open the wrapper.
