    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the abrupt action of an actuator after pinching is released by providing a valve element opened by the pressure of an inlet path communicated with the operation chamber of the pneumatic actuator and closed by a spring on a main body. SOLUTION: When a person is pinched between a moving portion connected to a piston rod 21B and a machine main body while a piston 21Ais operated forward, for example, an emergency stop action is immediately taken, and relatively high air pressure is confined in a head side operation chamber 24 by a solenoid changeover valve 3 changed over to a neutral position. If the pressure of the head side operation chamber 24 is remarkably higher than the pressure of a cap side operation chamber 22, the piston 21A is retreated. This is an unexpected action for a worker trying to release the pinching, and there is a possibility to induce another accident. A pressure regulating spring 49 is adjusted to the spring force corresponding to the low pressure of the cap side operation chamber 22 so that the piston 21A is kept at the stop state by the pressure of the head side operation chamber 24.

Further, the rest two pilot chambers are connected with the pilot load flow passage 29B by the connection flow passage 33B, and respective action surfaces 18A, 18B,... are formed to the dimension for shifting each main valve 15A, 15B to the first position, when the pilot fluid is introduced into respective pilot chambers 20A, 20B.
