    • The present disclosure discloses a method performed by a D2D RX communication device in a mixed cellular and device-to-device (D2D) network for determining D2D transmission timing, a method performed by a D2D TX communication device in a mixed cellular and D2D network for determining D2D reception timing, as well as the D2D RX communication device and D2D TX communication device. The method performed by the D2D RX communication device comprises the step of receiving a synchronization signaling from a D2D transmitting, TX, communication device which is paired with the D2D RX communication device. The method performed by a D2D RX communication device also comprises the step of determining a D2D reception timing reference according to the received synchronization signaling. The method performed by the D2D TX communication device comprises the step of determining a D2D transmission timing reference to be consistent with the D2D TX communication device's UL transmission timing for cellular communications in the mixed cellular and D2D network. The method performed by the D2D TX communication device also comprises the step of transmitting a synchronization signaling to a D2D RX communication device paired with the D2D TX communication device, according to the determined D2D transmission timing reference.
