    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacked image sensor capable of simultaneously obtaining a color image and a black-and-white image containing infrared radiation (IR) information. SOLUTION: In the stacked image sensor capable of simultaneously obtaining the color image and the black-and-white image containing IR information, the color image and the black-and-white image are obtained at upper layer parts; and at lower layer parts, image sensitivity is improved through a stacked structure for obtaining the IR information. In this case, the IR information can be obtained with a color filter having no infrared ray blocking function and a difference between absorption positions according to wavelengths of light; and the black-and-white image can be obtained by a transparent part which is partly provided in the color filter. According to this, IR signals wider than the visible region are used and therefore a high-sensitivity image can be obtained even in low illumination circumstances; and color images are respectively extracted in a planar way and therefore color cross talk between color components can be reduced.
