    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing electrolytic copper, even after electrolysis over a long period, in which the defect in the peeling of electrolytic copper from the surface of a cathode electrode plate is hard to occur.SOLUTION: Regarding the method for producing electrolytic copper in which a cathode electrode plate 2 and an anode electrode plate 1 made of crude copper are immersed into an electrolytic tank 10 storing an electrolytic solution 5, and electrodeposited copper is deposited on the cathode electrode 2 by electrolysis, at least a part of the electrolytic solution 5 is sampled from the electrolytic tank 10 and is passed through a column 11 composed by the filling of a chelate resin, the electrolytic tank 10 is fed with a rear solution in which the respective ions of Sb and Bi produced by the electrolysis reaction are adsorbed on the chelate resin so as to be removed, then electrolysis is performed, also, upon the cleaning of the column 11, the feed of the electrolytic solution 5 from the electrolytic tank 10 is stopped, the Sb and Bi adsorbed on the chelate resin are eluted, and thereafter, moisture in the column 11 is removed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic refining method for copper, in which peeling failure of electrodeposited copper caused by power outage can be suppressed and countermeasures can be taken on an individual basis on cathode electrode plates in electrolytic cells where occurrence frequency of peeling problems of the electrodeposited copper is particularly high.
      SOLUTION: The electrolytic refining method for copper comprises: (a) a step of immersing a cathode electrode plate 13 and an anode electrode plate 12 made of crude copper in a plurality of electrolytic cells 1 housing an electrolyte, thereby depositing the electrodeposited copper 6 on a surface of the cathode electrode plate 13 through electrolysis; (b) a step of withdrawing power supply to the electrolytic cells 1 for a prescribed period of time; (c) a step of changing depth of the immersion of the anode electrode plate 12 in the electrolyte 100; and (d) a step of resuming power supply to the electrolytic cells 1 and depositing re-electrodeposited copper 7 on a surface of the electrodeposited copper 6.
