    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure around a dash insulator hole with a secondary noise absorbing function and a sound leakage preventing function, which is improved in manufacturing efficiency by eliminating the need for retrofit of a seal member around the dash insulator hole and reducing assembling man hours, and to provide a method for forming the same.
      SOLUTION: A low-density layer is formed according to need around the hole in the high-density layer side of the dash insulator 1 consisting of a low density layer 2 and a high-density layer 3. The low-density layer 5 formed around the low-density layer 2 and the high-density layer 3 is formed by RIM molding simultaneously. The lower die of a RIM molding machine is provided with a die for molding the low-density layer 5 formed around the hole of the high-density layer.
