摘要： PURPOSE:To realize a delustered picture having high quality at the time of usage as a belt for fixing by specifying the surface roughness of the outer circumferential surface of a tubular outer layer made of fluoroplastic. CONSTITUTION:A composite tubular substance composed of a tubular inner layer made of a polyimide resin and a tubular outer layer made of fluoroplastics is prepared, and the surface roughness (RZ) of the outer circumferential surface of the tubular outer layer made of fluoroplastics is made 1-10mum. The composite tubular substance is manufactured by using fluoroplastics and polyamide acid as the precursor of a polyimide resin at that time. The fluoroplastics are employed under the state of a solution, and a polytetrafluoroethylene resin (PTFE), a tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer resin (FEP), etc., on the market may be mentioned, and used normally under the state of a dispersion. Polyamide acid is acquired by reacting the approximately equimolar amount of a tetracarboxylic acid bianhydride or a derivative thereof and diamine in an organic polar solvent, and employed normally under the state of the solution. Accordingly, a delustered picture having high quality is obtained on usage as a belt for fixing.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent defective power transmission and a slipping phenomenon due to etrapment of air, by a method wherein the title method stretches the title endless belt unidirectionally by making use of a plurality of rolls and uses the roll where unevenness processing is performed on the surface. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing of an endless belt stretched unidirectionally by making use of a plurality of rolls, the rolls where unevenness processing is performed on the surface are used. Although a material for the endless belt is not limited especially, it is preferable to make polyimide the material from view points of mechanical strength and heat resistance. The polyimide like this is synthesized from polyimide acid to be obtained by performing almost isomol reaction, for example, of an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (or its derivative) and aromatic diamine in an organic polar solvent. With this construction, simultaneously with stretching processing of the endless belt unevenness processing on the inside of the same can be performed. Therefore, incapability of power transmission and slipping phenomenon due to entrapment of air between the roll and the inside of the belt can be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To develop excellent characteristics as a fixing belt by roughening the outer peripheral surface of the outer layer of a composite tubular article consisting of a polyimide resin inner layer and a fluoroplastic outer layer so as to set the surface roughness thereof to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A fluoroplastic soln. is applied to the inner peripheral surface of a heat-resistant cylinder (a silicone resin may be applied to the inner peripheral surface in order to enhance release effect) composed of a metal or glass characterized by that the surface roughness of the inner peripheral surface thereof is about 1-10mum and the inner diameter thereof is about 10-500mm. It is pref. to uniformly disperse a particulate material with an average particle size of about 5mum or less in the fluoroplastic soln. because the outer peripheral surface of a fluoroplastic layer is homogenously roughened. The surface roughness (Rz) of the fluoroplastic layer depends on the surface roughness of the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder to be used or the average particle size of the particulate material to be dispersed and is set to 1-10mum. By this constitution, the coating irregularity of the soln. is not generated and the thickness irregularity of the inner and outer layers of a composite tubular article is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To form a smooth fluororesin layer on the outer surface of a polyimide tube by immersing in a fluororesin dispersion the polyimide tube with a rubber-like tube inserted for contact therewith. CONSTITUTION:After inserting a rubber-like tube into a polyimide tube, a pressure is applied to the former tube to bring the outer surface of the rubber-like tube into close contact with the inner surface of the polyimide tube. This is immersed in a fluororesin dispersion to form a fluororesin layer on the outer surface of the polyimide tube. As a result, the inner surface of a double layer tube thus obtained is free from contamination with the fluororesins. The surface roughness of this double layer tube, when compared with the conventional spray coating method, is so low as 0.01-1mu. When it is used for fixing by an image forming device, a glossy, clear image can be obtained.
