摘要： A portable carrying case for personal care absorbent articles, particularly feminine hygiene care products, includes a body defining an internal enclosure for receipt of a plurality of the stacked personal care absorbent articles. An opening is defined in the body at a location so as to expose an upper one of the absorbent articles for dispensing without generally exposing underlying absorbent articles. A lid is movably disposed relative to body from a closed position to an open position wherein access is provided to the absorbent articles through the opening. A manual push structure is defined in the body generally opposite from the opening. The push structure allows a user to push on the bottommost one of the stacked absorbent articles so as to move the uppermost one of the stack of articles towards the opening for grasping and retrieval by the user. A biasing element may bias the articles towards the push structure.

摘要： Disclosed is a portable device for effecting a desired environment proximate to the device. The effected environment includes, in part, temporary increases in the amount of water vapor as the device emits water vapor over some time duration, typically from about 1 or 2 minutes or so to about 15 to 30 minutes or so (other durations are possible). Heat from a chemical heating engine is employed to drive off the water vapor. The device may also emit one or more ingredients adapted to be detected by olfaction. The device may be used to help address symptoms of various ailments, e.g., cold, flu, allergies, sinusitis, and the like. Also, the device may be employed to help promote a desired emotive state for the user of the device. The device promotes one or more desired states through auditory, tactile, visual, and/or olfactory signals. Furthermore, the device may be used to open pores in skin; or to treat skin or tissue.

摘要： There is provided a system for dispensing a plurality of perforated wipes having a perforation detach strength characteristic. The system includes a dispenser having a dispensing force characteristic and including a sealable chamber. The chamber is configured to retain the plurality of perforated wipes therein. A dispensing opening is in communication with the chamber. The opening is adapted to dispense wipes from the plurality of perforated wipes through the opening and out of the dispenser. A wiper blade is positioned in the dispenser to engage at least a portion of the wipes as the wipes dispense through the opening. When dispensing, a ratio of the perforation detach strength characteristic to the dispensing force characteristic is greater than 1:1.

摘要： A mounting device suitable for use with a conventional bathroom tissue fixture. The mounting device may be used to support a dispenser from a conventional bathroom tissue fixture. In some embodiments, the mounting device includes a positioning member, a first support member, a second support member and a linkage operatively disposed between at least one of the support members and the positioning member whereby movement of the positioning member causes relative motion between the distal ends of the first and second support members. Latching mechanisms may also be used with the invention to inhibit the relative motion of the first and second support members. The mounting device may also include a housing and an attachment mechanism, such as a threaded fastener for attaching a dispenser to the mounting device. The housing may also have a longitudinal dimension and be configured whereby the lateral axis defined by the support members is asymmetrically located with respect to the longitudinal dimension of the housing. The attachment mechanism may also be adapted to attach the mounting device to a dispenser in two different positions whereby the lateral axis has a different relative position with respect to the dispenser in the two different positions. The housing may also include a longitudinally extending engagement surface which is engageable with the dispenser and facilitates the alignment of the mounting device and the dispenser.

摘要： A dispensing system and method for premoistened wipes. The dispensing system includes first and second longitudinally extending dispensing guides. The first guide is positioned substantially parallel and in proximity to the second guide to define a gap. The dispensing guides may each be rotatable about a longitudinally extending axis and comprise cylinders having a plurality of lands and grooves. The wipes are dispensed by passage through the gap and a dispensing opening having an edge which is defined in part by an impingement surface. The impingement surface has a first outer portion, a second outer portion and a central portion positioned between the two outer portions. The impingement surface is configured whereby the outer portions of the impingement surface more forcibly engage the wipe into engagement with the dispensing guides than the central portion of the impingement surface. This helps to maintain the wipes in a substantially flat condition as they are dispensed and prevents the “bunching up” of the wipe. The dispensing of the wipes with such a system may involve engaging a wipe with the impingement surface where outer portions of the impingement surface extend a greater distance than the central portion in a direction impinging on the wipe. The two outer portions of the impingement surface engage the wipe in areas adjacent opposite side edges of the wipe.
