摘要： PURPOSE:To improve working effeciency by electrically measuring dents on the outer surface of a forged material automatically, synthesizing the outer diameters at the dents and a normal outside diameter and centering the measured article. CONSTITUTION:A slide 11 and a gate type column 5 move while taking the pictures of a cylindrical material 1 lighted by a light source 18 with a camera 9. If there is a dent 7 on the outer surface of the cylindrical material 1, the camera 9 detects it and its position is processed by an interface 16 and an arithmetic unit 15 and stored in a memory 14. Taking out the stored data from the memory 14, the arithmetic unit 15 processes them and instructs a travel driving unit 13 and a measuring head driving unit 11 via the interface 16 to position an measuring head 3 at the position of said dent 7. The measuring head 3 measures an outside diameter at the dent 7 and stores it in the memory 14. By synthesizing the memory data of the outside diameters at all the dent 7 positions so obtained and the measured value of a normal outside diameter, the centering calculation of the cylindrical material 1, a measured object, is executed.

These discriminators 500, 600, 700 photograph the respective fishes sorted above by relevant means, and the characteristics of the resultant photographed images are collated by a relevant means with the fish type characteristics having been stored in a characteristics memory means by fish type to discriminate fish type. As a result, fishes in the form of a mixture of plural kinds of fishes ranging from ultra-small-sized to large-sized ones can be sorted without the need through any hand.
