    • PURPOSE:To uniformly wash not only dust precipitating electrodes and discharge electrodes but the inside surfaces of a casing as well by providing nozzles provided in the prescribed parts of the electrostatic precipitator, means for turning these nozzles around the axis and means for moving these nozzles in the direction of the above-mentioned axis. CONSTITUTION:Nozzles pipes 06 rotate forward and backward when water is supplied by water supply pipes 07a and a reciprocating machine 15 operates at a prescribed rotating angle at the time of washing. Water is released toward the dust precipitating electrodes 02 and flow regulating plates 20 when the directions of injection holes a are previously directed toward the dust precipitating electrodes 02 and the flow regulating plates 20. The water is further uniformly released to the dust precipitating electrodes 02 and the flow regulating plate 20 parts and these parts are washed if the nozzles pipes 06 are moved back and forth in the direction of the axis by the levers 14. The nozzles 37, 37a rotate forward and backward around the axes to release the water to the circumferences when the water is supplied from hoses 23 and rotating machines 31 are operated at the time of the washing. The finishes are greatly improved in this way.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a charge trip by contact of a discharge wire with a dust precipitation plate by disposing a detaining means for detaining the inclination of the discharge wire with respect to upper and lower bar materials in a section apart a specified distance from weld zones between these bar materials and the discharge wire. SOLUTION: The discharge wire 1 is joined to the upper round bar 4 by bending the discharge wire nearly perpendicularly near the weld zone 6 of its end to the upper round bar 4 to press this part to the outer periphery of the upper round bar 4 and applying spot welding in this contact part. At this time, a pawl 9 as the detaining means is formed in the section on the lower side in proximity to the weld zone 6 of the discharge wire 1, i.e., the side where a crack 7 can occur. This pawl 9 is disposed successively with the bent part of the discharge wire 1 and is so formed as to embrace the upper or lower round bar 4 from the outer side, by which the opening width B thereof is made smaller than the outside diameter D of the upper round bar 4. As a result, the inclination of the discharge wire 1 may be detained by the pawl 9 and, therefore, the occurrence of the charge trip may be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To rapidly control temp. and humidity without generating drain or mist, by allowing water droplets sprayed from a nozzle to pass through a cyclone along with an air stream and guiding only the uncollected minute water droplets into a temp. and humidity control apparatus along with the air stream. CONSTITUTION:The air entering from an air take-in port 3 is cooled by the water droplets sprayed from the nozzle 2 in a spray tower 1 to enter a cyclone 4 through piping 10. Coarse water droplets are collected by the cyclone 4 and only the cooled air containing uncollected fine water droplets is passed through piping 11 by a blower 5 and, for example, injected in the main flue 12 of an electric precipitator 18 to adjust the temp. of gas. The water sprayed from the nozzle 2 enters a water tank 6 from a water replenishing pipe 7 and meets with the drain collected in the spray tower 1 and the cyclone 4 to become recirculation water 13. As mentioned above, since the cooled air containing only fine particles is injected in the main flue 12, evaporation time is markedly shortened, and temp. and humidity are rapidly adjusted.

    • PURPOSE:To perform positively not only dust removal of SOx mist but also desulfurization by a method wherein an alkaline absorbing liq. film is flowed down uniformly over the whole surface of a dust precipitation electrode plate in a wet type electrostatic dust precipitator and treatment is performed by setting the corona electric discharge density of the dust precipitation electrode at a specified value or larger. CONSTITUTION:A flue gas 1 contg. SOx is guided into a wet type EP 3 after it is discharged from a desulfurization apparatus 2. Then, in the wet type EP 3, an alkali soln. 3 is sprayed into the field of corona discharge 9 consisting of an electric discharging electrode 5 and a dust precipitation electrode plate 6 from a nozzle 4. In addition, droplets 3 of the sprayed alkali soln. are collected on the dust precipitation electrode plate 6 to form a liq. film 7. In addition, ion wind 10 caused by corona discharge 9 is applied on the liq. film 7 from the projections 8 on the electric discharging electrode 5 to decrease the boundary film resistance of the liq. film 7 facing the projections 8. In this case, the corona discharging density of the dust precipitation electrode plate 6 is set at 0.5mA/m or higher. Not only dust precipitation or the dust and the SOx mist but also desulfrization by the action of the ion wind are positively performed.

    • PURPOSE:To optimize EP operation and improve dust collection efficiency through increasing of dust wipeout efficiency by permitting polarity inversion at any time in accordance with a change in EP change characteristics or EP operation status. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage transformation rectifier 1 is provided with both negative pole terminal 6 and positive pole terminal 7. EP and ground connections are selected for each terminal by means of a selector 12 in accordance with selection of EP positive and negative charges. For instance, when the charge is negative, the negative pole terminal 6 is connected to the EP side by the selector 12 and the positive pole terminal 7 to the grounding side. EP has normally a few to several dozens of power supply devices in accordance with EP capacity charging subdivisions, and charging polarity is selectable per individual power supply device. Subsequently, minute charge control can be performed and dust collection performance improved.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the dust collection efficiency of a dry electric precipitator by lowering the electric resistivity of exhaust gas, by spraying and injecting waste water containing an alkali component from the wet electric precipitator in the flue in a fore-stage of a dry electric precipitator. CONSTITUTION:After exhaust gas is introduced into a dry electric precipitator 3 to remove the solid component in said gas, the absorption of Sox in the exhaust gas is performed by the cooling tower and the absorbing tower of exhaust and desulfurizing apparatuses 5, 6 and the dust in the exhaust gas is further removed by a wet electric precipitator 7 to exhaust the treated gas to the open air. In order to enhance the dust collection efficiency of the dry electric precipitator 3, it is desirable that the content of the alkali component in exhaust gas is high and temp. is lower. Then, a part of waste water containing a large amount of the alkali component recirculated to the cooling tower of the exhaust and desulfurizing apparatus from the wet electric precipitator 7 through a line 11 is branched to be sprayed and injected in the exhaust gas of the flue immediately before introduced into the dry electric precipitator 3 through a line 12. By this method, the dust collection efficiency of the dry electric precipitator can be markedly enhanced and economical efficiency is extremely high.
