In this absorbent article 1, a superimposing region T between a portion extending to the outward from a side edge 41 of the absorbent body 4 of the rear surface sheet 3 for the body and a lateral inner side portion 60b2 of the rear surface film 60b for the wing is formed along both the side edges 51 of the body 5. A pattern 9 is formed by printing on the superimposing region T.
