Further, when a force is exerted in a direction in which the snap tap 18 is rotated, the drum part 42 is rotated and the force is absorbed. When the drum part 42 is pulled out from the cylindrical part 28 by a given length, an engaging part 48 is locked at a lock part 40, and desorption of the drum part 42 from the cylindrical part 28 is prevented from occurring.

SOLUTION: A pipe line branch part protecting box 10 having a pair of the first opposed side walls 20, a pair of the second opposed side walls 22 for connecting the first side walls 2, and a roof 26 for connecting the upper ends of the first side wall 20 and of the second side wall 22 is arranged so as to cover a snap tap 14 being a branch part between a water distributing pipe 12, namely a main pipe, and a water supply pipe 16, namely the branch pipe of the main pipe. The protecting box 10 is connected to the snap tap 14 from an opening 24 formed on one side of the second side wall 22 through the water supply pipe 16. Even in the case where the water distributing pipe 12 is moved in the direction of a pipe axis by the displacement of the ground due to an earthquake, since the snap tap 14 protrusively provided on the water distributing pipe 12 moves inside the hollow protecting box 10, load caused by soil does not act on the periphery of the snap tap 14.

CONSTITUTION:One end of the first straight pipe 21 is installed in a structure 1, and the other end of this is installed on one end of a curved pipe 4 by the first joint 31. The other end of the curved pipe 4 is installed on one end of the second straight pipe 22 by the second joint 32, and the other end of this is made free. Behavior against an earthquake of a pipeline buried underground in this way is analyzed. In this case, in the first place, the straight pipes 21 and 22 and the curved pipe 4 are modeled respectively by a cylinder shell model. Next, disturbed data of the ground by the earthquake, for example, a spring constant of the ground or displacement of the earthquake and the like are inputted. In succession, by a correction transmitting matrix into which the disturbed data is considered, operation is carried out on respective physical quantities of the pipeline, for example, on pipe shaft directional stress, circumferential directional stress and circumferential directional shearing force and the like.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent breakage due to liquefying phenomenon by setting the floatup preventive construction method for a structure in case the structure is afloat resulting from the liquefying phenomenon, presuming the amount of ground settling, and judging whether the obtained amount is below a certain tolerable value or not. CONSTITUTION:In advance the buoyancy applied to a manhole and a pipeline connecting thereto is calculated together with the amount of ground settling, and if it is judged that a structure concerned is afloat due to the liquefying phenomenon, a floatup preventive construction method for the structure is set. Further the amount of ground settling due to liquefying phenomenon is presumed, and it shall be judged whether the amount of ground settling remains below a certain allowable value for a liquefication-countermeasured pipe. In this procedure the design is pushed forward, and the ground liquefying phenomenon generated by an earthquake and the external force originating therefrom are presumed accurately, and a well-countermeasured method for execution of works is adopted for the structure and associate pipelines.
