    • A signal processing system includes a level dependent bass management system. The level dependent bass management system utilizes audio input signal level information to apply at least one of multiple, available bass management solutions to generate one or more output signals from the audio input signal. In at least one embodiment, initially the level dependent bass management system boosts components of the audio input signal in the low frequency range by an amount sufficient to at least partially compensate for low frequency attenuation of the first speaker without exceeding one or more acceptable limitations of the signal processing system. If boosting alone cannot completely compensate for low frequency attenuation of the first speaker without exceeding one or more acceptable limitations of the signal processing system, the level dependent bass management system processes the audio input signal using an alternate low frequency management solution.

    • A power distribution system includes a selectable gain value to generate a duty cycle modulated control signal to control current supplied to a load. In at least one embodiment, the power distribution system includes a controller and a switch, and the controller generates the duty cycle modulated control signal to control conductivity of the switch. The duty cycle modulated control signal has a period and a pulse width. In at least one embodiment, the controller determines the period of the control signal as a function of a peak allowable link current value (also referred to as a peak allowable output current value) of a switching power converter, an inductor flyback time of the switching power converter, and the gain value. The link current provides current to a load, such as a lighting system that includes light emitting diodes.

    • An electronic reference-signal generation system includes a supply invariant bandgap reference system that generates one or more bandgap reference signals that are substantially unaffected by bulk error currents. In at least one embodiment, the bandgap reference generates a substantially invariant bandgap reference signals for a range of direct current (DC) supply voltages. Additionally, in at least one embodiment, the bandgap reference system provides substantially invariant bandgap reference signals when the supply voltage varies due to alternating current (AC) voltages. In at least one embodiment, the bandgap reference system generates a bandgap reference voltage VBG, a “proportional to absolute temperature” (PTAT) current (“iPTAT”) and a “zero dependency on absolute temperature” (ZTAT) current (“iZTAT”) that are substantially unaffected by variations in the supply voltage and unaffected by a bulk error current.
