    • A ventilation system for a watercraft engine includes an improved construction that can inhibit oil in an oil container from flowing into an air induction system even if the watercraft capsizes. The engine includes an engine body and an air induction system that introduces air to combustion chambers. A lubrication system is arranged to lubricate at least a portion of the engine body with lubricant oil. The lubrication system includes an oil tank assembly out of the engine body. A ventilation system is arranged to separate a gaseous component from a liquid component. The ventilation system includes a separator configured to separate the gaseous component from the liquid component. A ventilation passage connects the separator with the air induction system. A return passage couples a bottom portion of the ventilation passage with inside of the engine body.

    • A plating method for pre-plating or plating a cylinder inner peripheral surface to be treated of a cylinder block by introducing treatment liquid to the cylinder inner peripheral surface by using a plating apparatus provided with a sealing jig having a sealing member and an electrode to which the seal jig is mounted includes the steps, which are performed successively: sealing the cylinder inner peripheral surface by bringing the sealing jig into contact with the cylinder inner peripheral surface; introducing the treatment liquid to the cylinder inner peripheral surface; and treating the cylinder inner peripheral surface by applying predetermined charge to the electrode of the plating apparatus and the cylinder block to thereby perform pre-plating or plating process in a state that a liquid to be treated fills a space including the cylinder inner peripheral surface. In the method, the treatment liquid introducing step is performed after confirmation of sealing by the sealing step.

    • A cylinder block plate processing apparatus in which one end side of an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder of a cylinder block is sealed to circulate a process liquid to perform pre-plating or plating processing of the cylinder inner peripheral surface. The apparatus includes: an apparatus body having a workpiece mount table on which the cylinder block is placed; a workpiece holding tool that is provided on the workpiece mount table so as to be vertically movable; an electrode support member including an electrode cylinder mounted to the apparatus body; a processing solution supply member that supplies a processing solution to the electrode support member; an electrode operated by the electrode cylinder; a sealing jig provided to one end of the electrode; a driving mechanism that drives the sealing jig; and a control circuit that controls operations of the processing solution supply member and the driving mechanism. The electrode and the sealing jig are inserted from the other end side of the cylinder inner peripheral surface into the cylinder, and the driving mechanism is inserted from an end side of the inner peripheral surface so as to be connectable to the sealing jig.
