    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return a friction pad in parallel with a disk face by changing a mounting position of a return spring and prevent uneven wear etc. of the friction pad.
      SOLUTION: The base end side of the return spring 18 is fixed to a back metal 11 of the friction pad 10, and a tip portion 18B of the return spring 18 is made elastically abut on an abutment plate part 17 of a pad spring 15. In an intermediate position between a guide plate part 15A and a pad energizing part 15C of the pad spring 15 in regard to the radial direction of a disk 1, energizing force in the return direction by the return spring 18 is applied to the friction pad 10. Accordingly, since the return spring 18 is arranged in a position balanced with resultant force of sliding resistance of the friction pad 10 received from the pad energizing part 15C and sliding resistance received from the guide plate part 15A, the friction pad 10 can be stably returned while maintaining its posture parallel with the disk face.
