    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the rotor of a rotary electric machine in which cooling performance of the rotor winding is improved.
      SOLUTION: In each slot of a rotor core having a plurality of slots formed to extend in the axial direction at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction, a rotor winding formed by laminating a plurality of conductors and held by a holding ring at the axial end is provided with a ventilation trench for passing cooling wind along the longitudinal direction on the surface side of each conductor. The ventilation trench has an inlet hole for introducing the cooling wind and a vent hole for discharging the cooling wind. Each conductor constituting the rotor winding by laminating the conductors provided with a ventilation trench for passing cooling wind along the longitudinal direction on the surface side is provided with the opening of the inlet hole in the bottom face of the conductor on the side opposite to the side where the ventilation trench is formed.
