摘要： To provide an image display device, such as a liquid crystal receiver or the like, that has a printer incorporated therein for printing a displayed image on the spot, upon switching-on of a television receiver, an image forming device is activated and images or the like are projected onto a display screen. Here, by appropriately operating an operation section or the like, a command requiring images being displayed on the display screen to be printed out, is inputted into the image forming device. As a result, the printing command signal is issued from the data processing section provided in the output section to the printer unit, together with an image file appropriately converted from video signals. The printer unit develops the input image file, prints the corresponding image, and outputs it.

摘要： There is provided a rear projection television having a construction which facilitates replacement of a light source lamp and repair work within the body. The rear projection television includes a screen panel disposed at the front of a cabinet thereof, for receiving projection light projected from behind for image display, to thereby display an image thereon, a light source lamp removably disposed within the cabinet, for projecting the projection light, and a working door provided in the front face of the cabinet. An opening-detecting sensor detects opening of the working door and outputs an opening-detecting signal. An illumination section for replacement work disposed within the cabinet illuminates the inside of the body. The control section causes the illumination section to light when the opening-detecting signal is outputted by the opening-detecting sensor.

摘要： In the prior art, the problem exists that even where an image displayed on a television screen is printed by a video printer, an image having different levels of brightness, tone, sharpness and the like than the image displayed on the television screen is printed. In order to resolve this problem, in the present invention, a television receiver is used that includes a display unit, a printer unit, an image adjustment unit that inputs image data, performs predetermined image quality level adjustment to the image data and outputs to the display unit the image data obtained as a result of the level adjustment, and an operation unit that is externally operated and receives at least specifications of the image quality levels and an instruction that the image displayed on the display unit is to be printed. Where the operation unit receives an external image quality level specifications, the image adjustment unit executes level adjustment to bring the image quality levels to the specified levels, and where the operation unit receives an external instruction to print the image displayed on the display unit, the image adjustment unit outputs to the printer unit image data identical to the image data output to the display unit and the printer unit prints the image expressed by the image data input from the image adjustment unit.
