摘要： A control apparatus capable of improving the control accuracy and stability when controlling a controlled object with a predetermined restraint condition between a plurality of model parameters, or a controlled object having a lag characteristic, using a control target model of a discrete-time system. The control apparatus has an ECU which arranges a control target model including two model parameters such that terms not multiplied by the model parameters and terms multiplied by the same are on different sides of the model, respectively. Assuming the different sides represent a combined signal value and an estimated combined signal value, respectively, the ECU calculates onboard identified values of the model parameters such that an identification error between the signal values is minimized, and calculates an air-fuel ratio correction coefficient using the identified values and a control algorithm derived from the control target model.

摘要： An exhaust gas purifying apparatus for an internal combustion engine (1) is provided. A selective reduction catalyst (3) is disposed in an exhaust passage of the engine for reducing NOx in exhaust gases from the engine (1) under existence of a reducing agent. The reducing agent or a reactant for generating the reducing agent is supplied to the upstream side of the selective reduction catalyst (3). Occurrence of a reducing-agent slip in which the reducing agent is discharged to the downstream side of the selective reduction catalyst (3) is determined. A storage amount (NH3ACT) indicative of an amount of the reducing agent stored in the selective reduction catalyst is temporarily reduced from the state where the storage amount (NH3ACT) is at the maximum, and thereafter the storage amount (NH3ACT) is increased until the occurrence of the reducing-agent slip is detected. An accuracy of the reducing agent supply is determined according to an occurrence state of the reducing agent slip when the storage amount is changed.

摘要： An exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine (3), capable of supplying a just enough amount of reducing agent to a selective reduction catalyst (7) even when a NOx purification ratio of the catalyst is changed by various causes, thereby enabling a high NOx purification ratio and very low exhaust emissions to be maintained. An ECU (2) calculates a filtered value based on a signal from an exhaust gas concentration sensor (22), calculates a moving average value of a product of the filtered value and a reference input, calculates a control input such that the moving average value becomes equal to 0, and adds a reference input to the control input to calculate a FB injection amount. The ECU calculates a FF injection amount with a predetermined feedforward control algorithm, and adds the FF injection amount to the FB injection amount, to thereby calculate a urea injection amount.

摘要： There is provided a control system capable of realizing a highly robust control having a large margin of stability. The ECU of the control system controls the air-fuel ratio of exhaust gases emitted from the first to fourth cylinders. The ECU 2 estimates an estimation value of a detected air-fuel ratio, from a model defining a relation between the estimation value and a plurality of simulation values, and identifies an intake air amount variation coefficient such the estimation value becomes equal to a detected air-fuel ratio. The ECU calculates an air-fuel ratio variation correction coefficient according to the identified air-fuel ratio variation coefficient, on a cylinder-by-cylinder basis, and a learned correction value of the air-fuel ratio variation correction coefficient, on a cylinder-by-cylinder basis, and corrects a basic fuel injection amount by the air-fuel ratio variation correction coefficient and the learned correction value, on a cylinder-by-cylinder basis, to thereby calculate a final fuel injection amount.
