    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the adverse influence that structuring patterns exert on data reproduction. SOLUTION: A magnetization head 2 for aligning a first magnetic layer in a production system 200 for magnetic recording media aligns the magnetic particles of the first magnetic layer 11 in one direction (the traveling direction of a substrate 10). A drying machine 3 immobilizes the first magnetic layer 11 and fixes the alignment state of the magnetic particles. A coating roller 4 forms a second magnetic layer 12 atop the first magnetic layer 11. Permanent magnets 5a, 5b and a magnetization head 6 for aligning the second magnetic layer alternately align the magnetic particles of the second magnetic layer 12 in different directions (the traveling direction of the substrate 10 and the direction perpendicular thereto), thereby forming the structuring patterns. A drying machine 7 immobilizes the second magnetic layer 12 to fix the alignment state of the magnetic particles. The data recording layers aligned with the magnetic particles in the specified directions and the structuring pattern layers are superposed and, therefore, the execution of the recording and reproducing of the data are made possible and the reliability may be improved while the influence of the disturbance of magnetic fields by the structuring patterns is substantially not received.

    • PURPOSE:To permit a printing image to be fixed quickly by means of an impact printer and eliminate ink drip by using ink containing a high boiling-point liquid component whose vapor pressure is below a specific value and a transparent base whose wet contact angle is below a specific value with a surface which melts into the high boiling-point liquid component or swells. CONSTITUTION:A solvent component in ink adhering to the surface of an ink ribbon is a high boiling-point liquid with a vapor pressure at 20 deg.C being less than 1mmHg. Preferably a delayed drying liquid whose vapor pressure at 20 deg.C is less than 0.1mmHg should be used. A high boiling-point liquid mixture of more than two components may be used. However, it should have a wet contact angle of less than 45 deg.C with the surface of a transparent recording base for a material to be recorded, and the surface of the base be melted at least swollen. The recommendable resins to be melted into the high boiling-point liquid mixture or swollen are polyacrylamide, polyvinyl acetate, etc., which are comparatively less solvent-resistant. The surface layer of a transparent base is a laminated coat. The suitable transparent base is a highly transparent sheet such as transparent paper, polyester film and acetate film.
