    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for learning the line pressure of a continuously variable transmission and a method thereof are provided to improve shift efficiency and fuel efficiency by learning controlling line pressure and optimally controlling actual line pressure. CONSTITUTION: An oil pan(11) stores transmission oil. An oil pump(13) transfers the transmission oil to engine power. A line pressure controlling valve(15) forms line pressure by controlling the supply quantity of transferred transmission oil. An idler pressure controlling valve(17) controls the pressure of the transmission oil which is provided to an idler pulley. An idler pulley pressure sensor(21) detects the pressure of the transmission oil which is provided to the idler pulley. A controller(23) controls to learn the line pressure which is controlled by the line pressure controlling valve, to apply a learned value, and to revise the line pressure.

    • The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling a snow mode of a vehicle. The prevent invention is capable of preventing setting of a snow mode due to driver′s mistake and capable of reducing the number of pushing a button for converting one driving mode into another driving mode without the snow mode when one driving mode is converted into another driving mode by temporarily removing the snow mode in the driving mode by deactivating the snow mode when the weather is warm so the snow mode in a vehicle is not needed. For this, the method for controlling a snow mode of a vehicle according to present invention comprises the steps: 1) that a temperature sensing unit detects temperature; 2) that a judging unit judges whether or not the detected temperature exceeds a critical value; 3) that a mode control unit deactivates the snow mode in the driving mode when the detected temperature exceeds the critical value; and 4) the mode control unit activates the snow mode in the driving mode when the detected temperature does not exceed the critical value.
