摘要： A cosmetic adhesive patch having a satisfactory adhesive force on a certain level. The patch can contain a vitamin irrespective of whether the vitamin is water-soluble or lipid- soluble. Even when the vitamin is, in particular, vitamin C, the patch can inhibit the vitamin from suffering oxidation or hydrolytic deterioration and stably contain the vitamin C without causing gel deterioration. Also provided are: a method of using the cosmetic adhesive patch by which vitamin C can be effectively transferred from the cosmetic adhesive patch and absorbed in the skin; and a package containing the cosmetic adhesive patch. The cosmetic adhesive patch is characterized by comprising: a tacky polyurethane gel which has hydrophilic alkylene oxide segments and hydrophobic alkylene oxide segments and in which most of or all of the segments are liquid at ordinary temperature; and a vitamin incorporated therein.

摘要： It is intended to provide a gel for an ultrasonic phantom which has favorable ultrasonic characteristics that can be sustained over a long period of time without alteration and is free from bacterial contamination, denaturation, putrefaction, etc. Namely, a gel for an ultrasonic phantom which comprises a segmented polyurethane gel having alkylene oxide segments, which are mostly or entirely in the form of a liquid at room temperature, and a nonvolatile organic gel expansion medium, which would not participate in the reaction of the urethane, contained therein. Owing to the nonvolatile organic gel expansion medium, the liquid segments, etc. are maintained in the spread state and thus the spaces among the segments are enlarged, which brings about favorable ultrasonic characteristics such as ultrasonic attenuation rate and transmission speed. Since the content of the expansion medium shows no temporal change, these favorable ultrasonic characteristics are maintained over a long period of time. Because of containing the organic gel expansion medium, the gel for an ultrasonic phantom is free from bacterial contamination, denaturation, putrefaction, etc.

摘要： A self-sustained artificial intervertebral disk that has flexible nearly ideal mechanical transformation characteristics and durability, exhibiting high vertebra bonding fixing force; and an artificial intervertebral disk insertion jig capable of easily and securely inserting and setting this artificial intervertebral disk between adjoining vertebrae. There is provided an artificial intervertebral disk comprising a core material constituted of a texture structure obtained by forming an organic fiber into a triaxial or further multiaxial three-dimensional woven texture, or knitted texture, or composite texture thereof and, superimposed on both upper and lower surfaces of the core material, plates of a polymer capable of being in vivo decomposed and absorbed which contains a bioactive bioceramic powder. Preferably, the superimposed plates are those having a multiplicity of holes made therethrough, the through-holes optionally packed with a material capable of being in vivo decomposed rapidly and absorbed, the material exhibiting bone conduction and/or bone induction properties. Further, there is provided an insertion jig comprising a combination of upper jig and lower jig fitted together so as to be capable of avoiding detachment in the vertical direction and capable of sliding back and forth, and further comprising an upper holding part and lower holding part for holding the artificial intervertebral disk, respectively disposed in front parts of the upper jig and lower jig.
