摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus enabling smooth attachment and detachment of a toner recovery unit while restraining the increase in the size of the image forming apparatus by covering the body of the apparatus and also by supporting the toner recovery unit on a partition so as to be freely attached or detached, the partition being supported on the body of the apparatus so as to be openable or closable. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 includes image forming stations 20K, 20C, 20M, and 20Y, the toner recovery unit 30, and a positioning unit 40. The image forming stations 20K to 20Y discharge toner through corresponding conduits 4A. The positioning unit 40 includes rotation knobs 40B and 40C. The rotation knobs 40B and 40C rotate between a fixed position where they are engaged with the image forming apparatus 100 in a covering position and a released position where they are disengaged from it. The toner recovery unit 30 faces the image forming stations 20K to 20Y with the positioning unit 40 between them and includes engaging portions 39B and 39C that are engaged with knobs 40P and 40Q in an attached position connecting to the conduits 4A and 65A.
