摘要： An apparatus for feeding a sewing machine with a textile fabric with opposite side hems. The sewing machine has a needle assembly and a bobbin assembly which are vertically aligned with each other to sew a textile fabric placed at a position between the needle and bobbin assemblies. The feeding apparatus is designed to set and withdraw the fabric into and from said position. The feeding apparatus includes two sets of rotary wheels that can be disposed respectively at the opposite sides of the sewing machine; a pair of loop members wrapped respectively around the two sets of wheels so that elements of each of the loop members can move around the respective sets of wheels with at least one section of their path being horizontal, and each loop member is spaced from and parallel to the horizontal section of the path of the other loop member's elements that move around the sets of wheels; a motor drivingly connected to one of each set of wheels, for driving the elements of the loop member synchronously with those of the other so that, within the horizontal sections of the paths, the loop member's elements are moved in the same direction; and a pair of holding mechanisms, mounted respectively on the loop members, for holding the opposite side hems of the fabric to hold the fabric between the pair of holding mechanisms at the respective horizontal sections of the loop path. Each of the holding mechanisms includes a plurality of spike members disposed around the corresponding loop member, the spike members being pointed upward when the spike members are in the corresponding horizontal section, so as to pierce the corresponding side hem of the fabric horizontally disposed.

The support has a soft structure and is disposed at a predetermined lengthwise location of the body so as to extend in a direction of the breadth of the body. The inventive mattress is capable of serving as a health aid which is so arranged as to prevent the lower back region of the human body from sinking in a curved manner and also to press against the lumbar vertebra, thereby improving the blood circulation and assuring a comfortable sleep.

摘要： A pair of left and right guide rails and a pair of left and right supporting rails which support the supporting frame of a quilt or the like, are provided with a pivot on one side of the sewing machine to permit circular movement. These rails are parallel to each other. A moving member is provided along the guide rails, and this moving member is moved by a moving apparatus. An anchoring member is also provided to anchor the member to the supporting frame. Furthermore, an apparatus for moving up and down, which allows the guide rails and the supporting rails to move in a circular manner using the pivot as a fulcrum, is provided to anchor the anchoring members of the supporting frame or to release the anchoring.

The machine head and a needle reciprocally movably mounted on the machine head are independently driven through coaxially disposed inner and outer shafts. The reciprocal movement of the needle is detected by a detector mounted on the machine head. When only the machine head is required to be rotated, the shaft for driving the needle is also rotated so that the needle is held in its top dead point.

A method for swallowing a shaped solid for oral ingestion, wherein an unsealable structure part installed at an opening-side end part of the housing body is removed; the shielding-side end part of the housing body is immersed into liquid in a vessel while the shaped solid for oral ingestion is stored in the storage chamber in the tubular envelope; and an opening part formed at the opening-side end part is held between the lips so that the shaped solid for oral ingestion is sucked in together with the liquid in the vessel is also disclosed.
