    • A method for processing images in a liquid crystal display is provided. The method includes the steps of: acquiring a backlight index according to an image; adjusting a backlight according to the backlight index; acquiring a reference gray level according to the adjusted backlight, wherein the reference gray level lies in between a first gray level boundary and a second gray level boundary; transferring a gray level of the image into a corresponding output gray level according to the backlight index when the gray level of the image lying in between the reference gray level and the first gray level boundary; and transferring the gray level of the image into another corresponding output gray level according to a linear relationship when the gray level of the image lying in between the reference gray level and the second gray level boundary.

    • A system for driving a liquid crystal display is provided. The system receives a video signal including a first predetermined gray level signal and a second predetermined gray level signal. The system includes a memory, an impulse signal module, a first multiplexer and a detection unit. The memory stores the first predetermined gray level signal. The impulse signal module receives the first and second predetermined gray level signal to generate a plurality of impulse signals. The first multiplexer receives the plurality of impulse signals and outputs the second predetermined gray level signal or the plurality of impulse signals according to the first control signal. The detection unit generates a first control signal to be applied to the first multiplexer according to the first predetermined gray level signal and the second predetermined gray level signal.

    • The present invention relates to a touch sensing device. In one embodiment, the touch sensing device includes a plurality of sensor units arranged in the form of an M×N matrix having M rows and N columns. Each sensor unit has a first touch sensor, S1,1, a second touch sensor, S1,2, a third touch sensor, S2,2, and a fourth touch sensor, S2,1, arranged in the form of a 2×2 matrix, where the first touch sensor S1,1 is connected to the third touch sensor S2,2, and the second touch sensor S1,2 is connected to the fourth touch sensor S2,1, respectively. The touch sensing device further includes a number of control lines having M row control lines and N column control lines. Each row control line is adapted for connecting sequentially the sensor units of a corresponding row, and each column control line is adapted for connecting sequentially the sensor units of a corresponding column.
