摘要： An image forming apparatus for performing an exposure process of exposing a microcapsule sheet to light and performing a pressure-developing process of contacting the microcapsule sheet having the latent image thereon with a developer sheet under pressure, thereby to form a visible image on the developer sheet, comprises plural sheet feed rollers for feeding the microcapsule sheet from the sheet feed-out side of the microcapsule sheet to and along a sheet feed path and winding up the microcapsule sheet to thereby perform a sheet feeding operation, an optical sensor or lever sensor provided in the neighboring of the sheet feed-out side of the microcapsule sheet for detecting a sheet feeding condition, such as a residue of the microcapsule sheet, a sheet feed error, a sheet feed speed and so on in the sheet feeding operation and outputting a detection signal indicative of a detection result and a control unit for beforehand storing distance data on the sheet feed path of the latent image forming medium between the sensor and a pressure-developing unit and/or storing data on a sheet feeding condition of the microcapsule sheet based on the detection signal.

摘要： A sheet storage case for storing therein a stack of sheets. The sheet storage case is assembled into a sheet feeding device which feeds out an uppermost sheet of the stack of sheets. The sheet storage case includes a bottom plate, a first positioning member fixedly secured to the bottom plate and a slidably movable second positioning member provided in the bottom plate. The second positioning member has a sheet receiving portion for receiving the stack of sheets. The second positioning member is movable toward and away from the first positioning member. To mount a stack of sheet on the sheet storage case, the second positioning member is moved away from the first positioning member, the sheets are placed on the sheet receiving portion, and then the second positioning member is moved toward the first positioning member. The side edges of the sheets are aligned, because the sheets are fittedly interposed between the two positioning members. The uppermost sheet is taken out by a mechanism which includes a suction cut which is brought to contact with the uppermost sheet to attract the latter. The suction cup to which the sheet is attracted is swung in the position above the sheet storage case to separate the uppermost sheet from the reminder.

An image recording system is provided with an illuminating device for generating radiations of different wavelengths falling within the wavelength bands of the microcapsule groups, or a radiation of variable intensity. The recording system has a selector for selecting at least one of the radiations of the different wavelengths, or one of the intensity levels of the radiation, in order to adjust the contrast of the images formed on the medium, with respect to non-image areas on the medium.

摘要： A copying apparatus operable with an original having an image-bearing surface on which images to be reproduced are supported. A radiation reflected by the image bearing surface is focused on a photosensitive paper, by a self-focusing lens array, so that latent images corresponding to the images on the image-bearing surface are formed on the photosensitive paper. The latent images are developed into visible images by a developing device such as a device adapted to apply a pressure to the photosensitive paper. The photosensitive paper may be a self-activated type having a photosensitive material and a developer material which chemically react with each other in the developing process. Alternatively, a separate developer paper having a developer material is superposed on a photosensitive paper having only a photosensitive material. In this case, the photosensitive and developer papers are superposed on each other for development of the latent images due to the chemical reaction between the photosensitive and developer materials. After the development, the two papers are separated from each other by a separating device such as a roller separator.
