摘要： An erosion shield for an aircraft window includes an annular band having a radially outer brim and a radially inner clip. The shield is sized to cover a composite window frame having an outer rim and an inner sash around a central aperture in which is mounted a window pane. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandwich panel for a structure, more concretely, a multilayered unidirectional fiber panel adjusted in the relative thickness of upper and lower laminates so as to improve the load support characteristics of the panel without increasing a wt. SOLUTION: A multilayered asymmetric bonded sandwich panel 10 improved in the load support function of a top part is disclosed. The panel has a core 12 and a multilayered top laminate 18 is fixed to the upper surface of the core 12. In the same way, a multilayered bottom laminate 24 is fixed to the rear surface of the core. The thickness of the top laminate is larger than that of the bottom laminate and compression resistance force is increased and the bottom layer is enhanced in the durability against tensile force. The core 12 is pref. a honeycomb core and each layer is advantageously a unidirectional fiberglass epoxy prepreg thin layer.

CONSTITUTION: This device is a modified exhaust tailpipe utilizing a noise suppressor and it is esecially for use in a turbofan engine of an aircraft. The modified tail pipe 26 is connected to an exhaust duct of the engine. The front end 12 of the tail pipe has a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the exhaust duct of the engine, and the diameter is increased to form an expanded part, thereby increasing the flow area of gas of the fan in the area of a mixer supported within the forward end of the exhaust device of the tail pipe. Thus, the operation efficiency of a jet engine can be improved.
