摘要： A carton for containing one or more articles, the carton comprising a series of walls for retaining said one or more articles within 5 the carton, wherein a presentation and retention means is incorporated within one of said walls. The presentation and retention means comprises a displaceable tab (62, 68) connected to the wall (24) in which the presentation and retention means is incorporated such that once displaced to create a window for displaying an article the displaceable tab is biased to return to its original position and 10 thereby retains the displayed article within the carton. Optionally, the biasing is achieved by virtue of the connection of the displaceable tab being about a non-linear hinge line. Additionally, or alternatively, this biasing is achieved by the displaceable tab being connected a hinge line (60b, 60) co-extensive with the extent of the displaceable tab.

摘要： A panel interlocking arrangement for securing together a pair of panels (28b, 28a). The two panels may form overlapping panels of a paperboard carton. The interlocking arrangement comprises a locking tab (60) having a heel (60b) and a toe (60a). The locking tab is provided adjacent an end (40) of one (28b) of the panels and is hinged about its centre to that panel by a pair of divergent fold lines (63, 65). The interlocking arrangement further comprises one or more locking apertures (70) formed in the other (28a) of the panels. The one or more apertures are shaped in complementary fashion to the locking tab. To lock the panels together, the locking tab is inserted into the one or more apertures. The insertion of the locking tab is facilitated by both the heel and toe of the locking tab being pivotal about the divergent fold lines.

The inner and outer handle panels are in an overlapping relationship. Each of the inner and outer handle panels has a transverse edge at a position opposite to the fold line. The inner handle panel is disposed in an overlapping relationship with a first one of the plurality of panels. The outer handle panel is disposed adjacent to a second one of the plurality of panels. One of the transverse edges is connected to one of the first and second panels. The fold line is interrupted by an aperture defined at least in part by a first edge of the aperture. The first edge defines a carrying edge of the at least one handle structure.

摘要： A package includes an article group formed of two or more vertically arranged tiers of similarly dimensioned, cylindrical articles disposed on their sides in a side-by-side parallel fashion, and a carton disposed around the group. The carton includes a top wall, opposed side walls, an end wall and an article dispenser. The side walls are disposed alongside the ends of the articles while the end wall is disposed adjacent to the side wall of an endmost article. The dispenser includes a corner portion of the carton formed from and detachably connected to the top, side and end walls to define an opening upon removal of the corner portion. The opening is shaped to define a recess in the end wall to reveal a part of the endmost article in the lowermost tier.
