    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve deficiency of easiness, efficiency and preciseness which generate in series of work, in which the conventional series of work at the time of attaching a spacer create the spacer by measuring a space thickness, or create the spacer by combining plates after preparing many kinds of plates different in thickness in advance.
SOLUTION: The spacer having a thickness required for the places can be created by providing an angled laminated part, which is laminated at one side or two sides of the spacer comprising a laminated sheet which is laminated by an adhesive agent peelable or peeling and again bonding materials of a thin thickness on the square base plate (hereinafter referred to as the adhesive agent), without using the adhesive agent, inserting the part into the space attached on the spacer, and moving the space thickness on the part. In addition, the spacer can be temporary tacked to the substrate by applying the adhesive agent on the bottom of the plate of the spacer. Furthermore, the spacer can be shortly fixed by nailing or making a screw hole.

Each of the switched capacitor amplification parts has a charge detection node to which output terminals of the transfer transistors of a corresponding pixel group X(n) are connected in common, an amplification part, a reset transistor, a first capacitance element, and a select transistor. A load part common to the switched capacitor amplification parts is provided. The load part is combined with the amplification parts of the switched capacitor amplification parts to constitute inverting amplifiers, respectively. By means of the above constitution, it is capable of obtaining a noise-reduced, high-quality image and which allows transistor count per pixel to be cut, thus allowing the pixel size to be reduced.

    • A signal charge is transferred from a photodiode to a signal charge storage portion through a depletion mode transfer transistor. A reset transistor is connected between an input terminal and an output terminal of a MOS transistor. A vertical scanning circuit always turns on the reset transistor during a non-read period of the signal charge to make short circuit between input and output of the MOS transistor, thereby stopping amplification operation of the MOS transistor. An excessive signal charge generated in the photodiode at the time of imaging a high-luminance subject is discharged to a vertical signal line through a drain path constituted of the depletion mode transfer transistor, the signal charge storage portion and the reset transistor. A switch circuit performs switchover of the vertical signal line between a reset voltage and a constant current load transistor.
