    • The invention relates to a height-adjustable heavy-duty support, in particular for use as a mounting support in underground mining. The aim of the invention is to create a universally deployable, easy to handle, height-adjustable heavy-duty support, the support lengths of which can be precisely graduated and, if necessary, easily adjusted. In order to achieve said aim, a heavy-duty support of the type mentioned above is provided, which is characterized by at least one support column (1, 2, 3) that is provided with a load-distributing support base (1) at the bottom and a threaded rod (4) at the top, which rod can be unscrewed in the axial direction from a threaded hole (3b) located at the upper end of the support column (1, 2, 3) in a column head (3) and is provided with a load-bearing head (5) at the top. At the top, the support base (1) is provided with a receiving opening (1b) for receiving a connecting journal (3a, 2a), which fits accurately into the receiving opening (1b) and which is located at the lower end of the column head (3) provided with the threaded hole or of a column extension piece (2).

    • Die Erfindung betrifft eine höhenverstellbare Schwerlaststütze, insbesondere für die Verwendung als Montagestütze im untertägigen Grubenbetrieb. Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, eine universell einsetzbare, leicht handhabbare höhenverstellbare Schwerlaststütze zu schaffen, deren Stützlängen genau einteilbar sind und erforderlichenfalls leicht nachstellbar sind. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe schlägt die Erfindung eine Schwerlaststütze der eingangs genannten Art vor, die gekennzeichnet ist durch mindestens eine Stützsäule (1, 2, 3), die unten mit einem lastverteilenden Stützfuß (1) und oben mit einer Gewindestange (4) versehen ist, die in axialer Richtung aus einer am oberen Ende der Stützsäule (1, 2, 3) in einem Säulenkopf (3) befindlichen Gewindebohrung (3b) herausschraubbar ist und oben mit einem Lastaufnahmekopf (5) versehen ist. Dabei ist der Stützfuß (1) oben mit einer Aufnahmeöffnung (1b) zur Aufnahme eines passgenauen in die Aufnahmeöffnung (1b) passenden Anschlusszapfens (3a, 2a) versehen ist, der sich am unteren Ende des mit der Gewindebohrung versehenen Säulenkopfes (3) oder eines Säulenverlängerungsstückes (2) befindet.

    • A thyristor controlled power supply forms part of a control system for a drive motor to accelerate and decelerate an endless conveyor belt trained around a guide drum coupled to the drive motor. A tension drum is controllably positioned by a stepping motor to develop a predetermined tension in the conveyor belt. A firing circuit for the thyristors in the power supply lines is controlled by a regulator which receives signals corresponding to the actual tension and desired tension in the conveyor belt during acceleration and deceleration. In one form, these signals are provided by a tachometer coupled to the drive motor and a potentiometer with a motor-driven movable tap. The drive motor for the movable tap may be controlled by an integrating circuit to vary the speed of the tap during acceleration and deceleration of the belt. In a second form, the regulator receives a signal from a load sensor coupled in the drive train for the tension drum and a signal from a manually set potentiometer corresponding to the desired tensioning of the conveyor belt.
