The wireless charging system (100) is configured to: in response to a beam (111) selection instruction, determine a main beam from a plurality of beams (111) transmitted by the plurality of transmitting apparatuses (110), and determine the transmitting apparatus (110) corresponding to the main beam as a main transmitting apparatus, wherein the main beam is a beam (111) having maximum receiving power corresponding to an apparatus to be charged (P) side and having receiving power satisfying a minimum charging power threshold of the apparatus to be charged (P). By establishing a communication connection between the main transmitting apparatus and the apparatus to be charged (P), and using the selected main beam to charge the apparatus to be charged (P), a chargeable range of the apparatus to be charged (P) is expanded, thereby satisfying a charging requirement of the apparatus to be charged (P), and improving user experience.
