The wearable device comprises: a memory configured to store instructions; at least one display having a display area; a frame which includes a nose pad coming in contact with a part of the body of a user wearing the wearable device, and which supports the at least one display; a PPG sensor exposed through at least a part of a portion of the frame coming in contact with another part of the body of the user; at least one microphone arranged in the nose pad; and a processor. The processor can be configured, when the instructions are executed, to identify a respiration state of the user on the basis of at least a part of first data acquired through the PPG sensor and second data acquired through the at least one microphone. Other various embodiments are possible.
