A power supply unit (10) for an aerosol inhaler (1) comprises: a power supply (12); a discharge terminal (41) to which is connected a heater (21) that consumes power supplied from the power supply (12) and heats an aerosol source (22); a charge terminal (43) which is connectable to an external power supply; a fourth FET (104); and a fifth FET (105) which is connected in parallel to the fourth FET (104). The fourth FET (104) and the fifth FET (105) which are connected in parallel connect the power supply (12) with the discharge terminal (41) or the charge terminal (43).
