A closure assembly (1) for a package (500) with a flexible thin-walled bag (2) comprises a spout group (10) provided with a coupling region (110) and a closure (40) having a cap group comprising a coupling portion (95) and a guarantee seal (54). The guarantee seal (54) comprises a guarantee ring (56), a guarantee band (58) and a plurality of breakable bridges (60). In an open configuration, the guarantee band (58) forms a strap (581) which keeps the cap (46) connected to the guarantee ring (56); and in a use configuration, the cap group (42) is in a predefined position with respect to the spout (30).
