The present invention relates to an air conditioner. The air conditioner according to the present invention comprises: a case having an inlet and an outlet; a fan, which is arranged inside the case and forms air flow from the inlet to the outlet; and an ionizer, which is arranged at one side of the case and generates ions in air flowing to the outlet, wherein the ionizer comprises: a housing having an exterior shape and having an open hole formed in one side thereof; an electrode, which is arranged inside the housing and generates ions toward the open hole; and a high voltage generation unit, which is arranged inside the housing and applies high voltage to the electrode, and the electrode has a plate shape and has a tip part with a sharp end portion.
