An electric headrest structure of an automobile seat having a large range, said structure comprising: two guide rods (1) arranged in the same direction; a headrest body (2), an outer portion thereof having connected thereon a sliding block (21), the sliding block (21) being provided with two through-holes and a threaded through-hole that are vertically arranged, and the two guide rods (1) being slidably disposed in the two through-holes, respectively; a support plate (3), which is connected to the two guide rods (1), the support plate (3) being provided with a vertical through hole (d) aligned with the threaded through-hole; and a drive motor (4), which is reversibly mounted on a side of the support plate (3) distant from the sliding block (21), and an elastic energy absorption plate (41) being disposed between the drive motor (4) and the support plate (3). The drive motor (4) is transmittingly connected to a screw rod (42) that movably penetrates through the vertical through hole (d), an end of the screw rod (42) distant from the driving motor (4) being screwed into the threaded through-hole, and a gap remaining between the vertical through hole (d) and the screw rod (42).
