The purpose of the present invention is to provide a measuring device that can perform calibration even if measurement errors vary. The present invention is a measuring device (1) that performs a measurement of the amount of water contained in a medium, and is provided with: a first probe (201) in which is embedded a first cable (3080) that can be electrically connected to a first connection cable (308); a second probe (202) in which is embedded a second cable (3090) that can be electrically connected to a second connection cable (309); and a standard instrument (100) that is secured in a prescribed positional relationship with the first probe (201) and second probe (202) during the measurement, can be electrically connected to the first connection cable (308) and second connection cable (309) when the measurement is not being performed, and is used in calibrating the measurement.
