A computer-implemented method for providing a bridged conference between conference equipment at a first conference venue (VENUE A) and conference equipment at a second conference venue (VENUE B). An apparatus 150 at the first conference venue communicates with a conference control unit (CCU) 140 and communicates with an apparatus 250 at the second conference venue via an inter-venue interface 158. The CCU 140 is connectable to a plurality of delegate units (DU) 110 each having a microphone. The method comprises, at the apparatus at the first conference venue, receiving CCU audio from the CCU 140 and sending inter-venue audio data representing the CCU audio to the apparatus 250 at the second conference venue. The method comprises receiving inter-venue audio data and sending audio representing the inter-venue audio data to the CCU 140. The method comprises receiving CCU control data from the CCU. The method comprises sending inter-venue control data which is indicative of a status or action of a DU connected to the CCU 140. The method comprises receiving inter-venue control data which is indicative of a status or action of a DU at the second conference venue.
