The invention relates to a method for producing a pylon, comprising steps consisting of: defining a pylon profile which is made up of a plurality of pylon sections (T1-T6) with identical structures and corresponds to a larger pylon that can be produced, selecting consecutive sections of the pylon profile depending on the specific height of a pylon to be produced, selecting a configuration from configurations defined for each crossbar of each selected section, performing a simulation calculation by means of a computer to determine mechanical stresses endured by the selected crossbar configurations of the selected sections when the pylon is subjected to maximum wind stress, if the selected crossbar configurations of the selected sections are not under-dimensioned, selecting, from the crossbars produced, crossbars having the selected configurations for each of the selected sections, and assembling the selected crossbars produced in order to construct the pylon (PYL, 1).
