The aim of the invention is to provide a connection material that can be produced as simply as possible and by which a permanent connection of a plurality of elements, for example a plurality of metal sheets of a rotor core and/or stator core can be established. In order to achieve said aim, it is proposed that the connection material comprises a polymeric matrix material and at least one metallic filler and/or at least one ceramic filler or is formed therefrom.
