The present invention relates to a fabric having an electromagnetic wave shielding function and a method for manufacturing same. The fabric having an electromagnetic wave shielding function according to the present invention is manufactured by: preparing polyester batch chips prepared in the form of chips formed from polyester; preparing polyester master batch chips comprising an electromagnetic wave shielding component, by mixing the polyester batch chips and an electromagnetic wave shielding material; and performing raw yarn preparing, raw yarn air texturing, raw yarn coating, raw yarn drying and fabric manufacturing steps by means of the polyester master batch chips. Accordingly, by manufacturing a fabric comprising an electromagnetic wave shielding material, the present invention enables manufacturing of a fabric, having an electromagnetic wave shielding function, which has enhanced electrical conductivity and thus exhibits an excellent electromagnetic wave shielding effect, additionally exhibits excellent antimicrobial and anti-odor activities, and has long-lasting antimicrobial and anti-odor activities.
