The present invention relates to a three-dimensional string woven air cushion and a manufacturing method thereof. Particularly, the present invention comprises: a lower sheet layer formed by weaving a plurality of weft yarns and a plurality of warp yarns to form a layer with a predetermined thickness, and forming a bottom surface; an upper sheet layer formed by weaving a plurality of weft yarns and a plurality of warp yarns to form a layer with a predetermined thickness, disposed a predetermined distance above the lower sheet layer so as to be parallel thereto, and forming a top surface; and a gap-retaining yarn layer connected, by weaving gap-retaining yarns, to respective weft yarns and/or warp yarns of the lower sheet layer and upper sheet layer, and connected by weaving continuously in a zigzag manner in a direction from one side to the other side. Therefore, the present invention allows a user to sleep comfortably.
