本ウェビング巻取装置では、モータの出力軸の回転が第１ギヤ列を介してスプールへ伝わる。この状態でスプールの回転速度が低下して第１クラッチのスライダベースの回転が低下すると、第２クラッチ（１１０）の連結パウル（１２４）がスライダベースに設けられたスライダに押圧されてラチェットギヤ（１２６）に噛合い、モータの出力軸の回転は、第２ギヤ列を介してスプールへ伝わる。

In this webbing winding device, rotation of an output shaft of a motor is transmitted to a spool via a first gear train. In this state, when the rotational speed of the spool decreases and the rotation of a slider base of a first clutch decreases, a linking pawl (124) of a second clutch (110) is pressed against a slider provided to the slider base to mesh with a ratchet gear (126), and the rotation of the output shaft of the motor is transmitted to the spool via a second gear train.
